Different Dental Terminology And Dental Procedures


abrasion:
loss of fang structure caused by a hard toothbrush, poor brushing technique, or Bruxism (grinding or clenching the teeth).

abscess:
an infection of a fang, soft tissue or bone

abutment:
fang or teeth that support a preset or removable passage

adhesive dentistry:
contemporary term for dental restorations that involve bonding of composite resin or chinaware fillings to natural teeth

arch:

base:
reinforce sited under a dental restoration to padding the pulp (nerve chamber)
